| Greetings from Day of the Dead Gallery! |

| And The Winner Is... The staff at CRIZMAC is proud to announce the recipient of our Spanish Language 2011 scholarship. In collaboration with the Cemanahuac Educational Community, CRIZMAC awarded Diana Carter of Crockett Elementary and Montclair Elementary in Corpus Christi, Texas a scholarship for two weeks of intensive Spanish language study this summer. Diana will receive tuition for two weeks at the Cemanahuac Educational Community Language School in Cuernavaca, Mexico, housing and three meals a day with a host family, and one art-related field trip. Through this scholarship, CRIZMAC strives to support Diana in the pursuit of her personal and professional goals by providing her with a unique opportunity to immerse herself in the language and vibrant culture of Mexico. A panel of CRIZMAC professional educators selected Diana from an impressive and highly competitive applicant pool. We thank all of the applicants for their interest and express our sincere regret that we were unable to recognize each individual. We encourage all art educators interested in developing their Spanish skills to consider submitting an application for the 2012 scholarship. Check our website for future updates. |
