Day of the Dead Workshop! Make Mexican Sugar Skulls and "Papel Picado" Banners
Create a Large Sugar Skull in the tradition of Mexico's "Dia de los Muertos." Participants will take home their own unique Sugar Skull and a recipe with instructions. Great for all ages, but young children should be accompanied by an adult. (These "art forms" are not intended as food since they are not produced in a commercial kitchen. They can last many years stored in the bag provided.)

"Papel Picado" is the Spanish word for filigree paper banners that are used as decorations. Learn various folds and cuts to produce the handmade paper banners popular at Mexican Fiestas, Holidays, and Birthdays. This art form is used at "Dia de los Muertos" to decorate altars and gravesites.
